Step 1: In a pan with plenty of water and salt, cook the spaghetti according to the manufacturer's instructions, until they are left al dente. Drain, wash with cold water and reserve.

Step 2: Meanwhile, in a pan, heat a little oil. Stir fry the onion for one or two minutes, until it is clear.

Step 3: Add the bacon and the mushrooms. Sauté until everything is well done. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool.

Step 4: In a large bowl, mix the cooked spaghetti and the sofrito of onion, bacon and mushrooms. Season and stir.

Step 5: Add the cottage cheese and the gouda cheese. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.


  • You can substitute spaghetti for any other pasta.
