How to make healthy and homemade protein energy bars

First, in the robot's glass we will place a handful of nuts. Here you can add the ones you like the most: peanuts, almonds, walnuts, cashews, etc. I used a mix of all nuts.

Now we also add some raisins and several dehydrated fruits like a few plums (without a bone), some blueberries and some dates (without a bone). This type of fruit will make them stick and compact in a dough.

Then, we put the lid and close the robot. Let's hit the key Turbo for about 5 or 10 seconds, this will depend on whether you like more or less chopped nuts. You can grind it completely if you prefer but I like to find the pieces.

Remove the lid and now add 2 or 3 tablespoons of the peanut butter. If you prefer to add a little more, feel free. If you want to see how the homemade peanut butter or cream and in Monsieur Cuisine, CLICK HERE to see the recipe step by step.

I have also added two teaspoons of honey. Plus a teaspoon of cinnamon powder and a little grated coconut. This will enhance the flavor more.

Afterwards, we added a lot of oats. I added about 150 grams but you can add up to 200 grams. This to your liking.

* Another option is to add some pieces of chocolate, nuggets or pearls. It will also be very rich.

Again, we cover and close the glass and now we program: 1 or 2 minutes, press the reverse key (so you do not crush the ingredients), at Speed 1.

When you go for half the time, we stop and add a little water through the hole in the cup. You can also do it with the robot in motion.

Once finished, you will see that there is a compact but manageable mass.

Now we move to a container suitable for baking and press well with the help of a spoon or a pestle.

We preheat the oven to 180 degrees and when it's hot, we put the dough of the bars for about 30 minutes, until it starts to toast around the edges.

Finally, we remove and let cool before cutting them into square or rectangular pieces, as it is more comfortable for you.

And ready! It is very very rich. I love to snack between meals because they satisfy a lot and fill with energy.
